Meet The Doctors
I've always wanted to be in a healthcare profession. I like people. I know because I'm an extrovert I like working with people. It's what gives me energy everyday, but my father-in-law is a dentist and he's the one, when I started dating my wife and I met my father-in-law, he said it's a great profession. He said, "We can make our own hours and we get to spend a lot of quality time with people, but I'm not delivering babies at 3am, so that's kind of nice."
I decided to get into it because it was my cup of tea. I tend to be more artistic and dentistry provides a really wide variety of things that I get to do everyday that keep my interests piqued because otherwise, being somebody that's a little bit ADD, I would get very, very bored doing about anything else. My dental practice really reflects that because we do such a wide variety of things. The reason it's that way is because that's my personality.
Dr. Christopher Sortman, DDS
